Variables
Common Merganser
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with annual
precipitation of 683-3216 mm and little or no big sagebrush shrubland,
or where slightly drier (annual precipitation of 359-683 mm) and
topography is varied. The logistic regression analysis showed positive
or negative association with stream density, April precipitation (hex.
min.), and-to a lesser degree-lakes/reservoirs, number of land cover
types, May precipitation (hex. max.), and topographic variation.
